Determination of the radioactivity in the Turkish tea samples.
Natural and artificial radioactivity concentrations of the Turkish tea samples were determined using 20% n-type HPGe gamma-ray spectrometer. 238U, 226Ra, 232Th, 228Ra, 228Th, 40K, 210Pb, 7Be and 137Csradioactivity concentrations were measured. 238U, 226Ra, 232Th, 228Ra, 228Th radioactivity concentrations were MDA. 7Be, 210Pb, 40K and 137Cs radioactivity concentrations mean values were found 30.8 ± 2.3, 49.4 ± 4.4, 485.4±38.6 and 38.8±2.4 Bq kg-1, respectively.
